What Do You Need From Your Employment Solicitor?

Redundancy Law

Redundancy may happen because a workplace is closing down, or because fewer employees are needed for work of a particular kind at a particular location. For the purposes of calculating statutory redundancy pay, the current limit on a week’s pay is £450.

Settlement Agreements

A Settlement Agreement is an agreement in which an employee agrees to settle his or her legal claims against the employer on agreed financial and other terms. It is basically a document that records an employee’s agreement not to pursue a claim such as unfair dismissal, for redundancy pay, or breach of employment contract. Negotiating a Settlement Agreement can be a complicated process and Knight-Webb Solicitors have many years of experience in this field.
